There is a long list of scent types available, but if you would like to know which scent type was the best, then I would highly recommend deer urine.

a) Deer Urine

It will not only cover your scent but also attract other deer as well. The best product that makes the use of urine will be Nationwide Scents which is my favorite as well.

The urine collected will most likely be for doe’s that are in estrus, normal urine from a doe and also urine from the buck.

The best way to use these types of scents is by combining them and also to spay your boots and also the surrounding vegetation.

b) Other natural compounds

One of these compounds is vanillin which comes from a specific flower. Other compounds are basically oils collected from trees and bushed that are very effective in hiding your scent.

c) Skunk urine

Yes, you heard right.

Also, do not forget that this is probably one of the best ways to cover your scent. Now you do not have to catch a skunk and tease it in order to get some of its urine, but you can also use the product called Buck Stop Skunk Cover Scent.

You only need to apply one drop either onto a sponge, destinated handkerchief or even a drop on each one of your boots.

Also, be careful about using this on your clothes, well, that is if you want an angry wife.

I must admit that these products are very inexpensive.

The least expensive product is around $6, while the most expensive one can go up to nearly $40.

On average, you can expect to pay anything from $10 up to $20 per product.

They are a little bit more expensive, but you get 8 oz which will hold you almost the entire season (depending on how many times you hunt). This scent also works for whitetail, blackmail and mule deer.

Some of the features that you will love:

1. Very high-quality deer urine. This scent is 100% deer urine that is also CWD certified. This urine is also fresh and disease free which adds to the shelf life so that you can hunt for the whole season. You can also freeze the urine until hunting season approaches.
2. Very good value for the money. This product will contain 8 ounces which are more than some of the other products and it is also the least expensive per ounce.
3. Has multiple applications. You can apply this product by spraying it on vegetation or applying it on hoof or antler scrapes.
4. Is best used in combination. There is 3 product available which include Doe Estrus Urine, Rutting Buck Urine, and Scrape Urine which will prove to be a very potent combination for attracting large bucks.

1. Comes in only 1 size. This product only comes in a 4 oz size which might be just enough for one whole day. If you plan to go on a weekend hunting trip, then maybe you need to buy 2 bottles instead of only 1.
2. Works moderately good. The thing about this scent is that it smells like soil. The smell of soil is very well spread and can also mask your scent. It also has the possibility to attract deer that are after soil.

1. Is packed with testosterone. If you want to attract the dominant male deer or so-called buck, you will need a lot of testosterone. Dominant bucks are usually the larger ones with the huge antlers and do not want other bucks snooping around in their territory.
2. Will not make a mess. It is very easy to apply this product because it is in the form of a stick (the same type that uses deodorant that you smear under your arms). Other scents that are in a liquid form can cause a mess when not used properly.
