If you are new to carbon arrows and you would like to know which ones are my favorite, then I would recommend these arrows from M.A.K. They are 30 inches long and comes in a pack of 12.
So you already have your recurve or compound bow in place, but there is only one problem. You do not have any carbon arrows (carbon arrows is my preferred arrows). Finding the right arrows for your bow does not need to be a that hard and is much easier than you think.
Why?
Because I have already summarised 9 of the best carbon arrows for your compound or recurve bow.
Here is what you will get.
Today, I am going to give you the scope on how to choose arrows and also some of the factors that are important such as length, the cost and also the accuracy of these arrows.
If you know how to implement these three factors in your choosing criteria, then it will be a breeze getting the right arrows for your bow.
The choice is up to you.
Choosing the Right Arrows for your Compound & Recurve Bow
Whether you are shooting with a recurve or compound bow, the arrows will be the same. The length might vary a bit, but overall, there is no significant difference between the arrows used by the two.
Getting the right arrows for your bow is not that hard because there is not a lot of difference between them except for the material used such as Carbon Fiber in this case.
There are 4 more factors that you need to keep in mind which is not that major.
In this section, I will cover some of the cost related issues, the length and also some factors that influence the accuracy of the arrow.
Let’s start with the cost.
1. How much do they cost?
One thing that I must mention is that arrows, in general, are not that expensive.
These arrows can range anywhere from $2.5 up to $14 per arrow which is a massive difference.
The difference between the price can be related to some unique features that will make the arrow more accurate. If you are new to archery and you do not want to spend too much money on arrows, then I will highly recommend the Tiger Archery arrows.
If you have the money to spend and you would like to get some of the premium arrows, then I would recommend the Huntingdoor arrows.
2. What should their length be?
This feature is probably the most important one of all. It is related to the length of the arrow that you will use. Most bow manufacturers will recommend a length for their bows.
But there is only one problem.
The length given by them is not always 100% accurate.
Here is why.
Your draw length is the primary factor that will determine the length of what the arrow must be. Also, remember that this length will vary from person to person.
Once you have your draw weight, you can then add another 1-2 inches to get the proper arrow length in inches.
Here is an example:
Let’s say your measured draw length is 28 inches. Now you should add another 2 inches to the 28 inches which will give you a length of 30 inches (28+2=30).
Now you know what the preferred length is of the arrow for that specific bow.
3. Some factors that influence the accuracy
What use is an arrow if it cannot shoot straight? When you are hunting, there is nothing worse than waiting all day for a deer and then eventually missing the target because of your arrow.
Here are some of the factors that will influence that arrow’s accuracy.
a) Low-quality vanes
The vanes need to be flexible and long enough to have an impact on your accuracy. The vanes will guide the arrow on a straighter path than arrow without vanes.
Feather vanes are the most flexible, but they are not that durable.
b) The flexibility of the arrow
Once the arrow is released, the potential energy from your draw weight will convert to kinetic energy into your arrow.
As a result, the energy inside of your arrow will make it vibrate, and as a result, it will bend.
This phenomenon will lower the accuracy of your arrow, and this is why you need to change the design of the arrow to compensate for this.
The best arrow that makes up for this vibration is going to be the Carbon Express Maxima RED.
c) The arrow tip needs to be the right weight
It is imperative to choose an arrow tip that is either the same weight as the practice tip or even higher. It is never a wise choice to select a lighter tip because then the arrow will damage your bow.
The best shooting tips for arrows are between 100-150 grains.

What makes this arrow so unique, is the dynamic spine technology where the spine consists of 3 sections. With this feature, only the middle section will have a ripple effect instead of bending.
